We built KairosDX to solve our own billing problem

The story

Cinch + Strike Limited is a technology consulting partner. We enable businesses to transform how they work through better solutions, systems, processes, people—and now AI. Like most consultancies, we bill clients for our time—but standard timesheets are designed to record hours, not manage the realities of consulting. They often can't accommodate different contract terms, tiered rates, retainers, caps, non-billable work or rate changes once certain hours are reached. Internal billing notes and invoice context are limited, while reporting tends to show time logged rather than whether people are meeting productivity targets or projects are tracking commercially. We needed a system that connected time, contracts, performance and billing—so we built KairosDX.

We're still our own first paying customer. Real invoices, real money, running through KairosDX today — which is the most honest proof point we can offer anyone considering it for their own team.
